Cool spots in the city

For everyone who does not have a home where it stays cool, there are public places in the city where you can sit for free all day long.

• Neude Library: Located at Neude 11 (City Centre). Fully air-conditioned and additionally open as a place to relax and cool down.
• Neighborhood libraries: The libraries in the districts of Zuilen, De Meern, Leidsche Rijn, Vleuterweide, and Lunetten have opened their doors for extended hours.
• The Dom Church: Achter de Dom 1 (City Centre). Thanks to the centuries-old, thick walls, it is naturally wonderfully cool inside.
• Museum Catharijneconvent: Lange Nieuwstraat 38 (City Centre). This museum makes spaces available for people who want to escape the heat at home.
