Owners of a U-pas can attend almost all concerts, festivals and other programs in TivoliVredenburg for €5 in the coming months. The Utrecht music building wants to further lower the threshold for cultural visits and make live music accessible to everyone in the city - including Utrecht residents with a small wallet.
Holders of a U-pass can attend all programmes for which the Utrecht stage itself takes care of the production and ticket sales for €5. These include festivals such as Footprints, Transition and Ramblin Roots, concerts in the six different halls and knowledge and debate programmes. U-pass holders can buy tickets at the TivoliVredenburg box office upon presentation of their pass. These visitors also receive a free drink during their visit and can use the cloakroom or lockers free of charge. The scheme does not apply to programmes organised by external parties. U-pass holders can find more information on the website of TivoliVredenburg.
TivoliVredenburg's mission is: a lifetime of music for everyone. The music building wants to welcome as many people as possible: from young to old and from all kinds of different backgrounds. One of the social groups that TivoliVredenburg focuses on in particular are Utrechters with a smaller budget.
