On Wednesday evening, October 14, we will hold an online information evening about becoming a MeeleefGezin. A MeeleefGezin voluntarily takes in a vulnerable Utrecht child one day (part) per week and one weekend per month.
A MeeleefGezin (this can also be a MeeleefStel or MeeleefSingle!) focuses on children up to 4 years old of parents with mental vulnerability. They can and want to take care of their child(ren), but raising them costs these parents a lot of energy. Because their child is cared for on a structural basis, the parents get some breathing space.
Stable second environment
The MeeleefGezin ensures that the child lives in a familiar and stable 'second' environment. The child is seen and heard. This stimulates healthy development and helps to build a good relationship with their parents.
Professional support
As a MeeleefGezin, you are not alone. Care professionals from Buurtteams Utrecht and Spoor030 guide the matching of both families, and they remain involved even after the match to provide support. As MeeleefOuder(s), you will also receive training so that you are well prepared.
Interested in making a difference for these vulnerable children? Then register for the non-binding online information evening on Wednesday evening, October 14 from 19.30:21.00 PM to XNUMX:XNUMX PM!
