Need help with housework?

You can apply for Wmo support at the municipality of Utrecht. You can register via the website. Then a neighborhood team employee will contact you and you will see what support you need. A plan is made and then you will receive a decision from the municipality. With that you can get the right help.

If you find it difficult to arrange help yourself, you can contact an independent client support worker from U Centraal. They will help you before, during and after applying for care. You can find more information on the website of You Central. Of course you can also neighborhood team in your neighborhood.

There are two options:

1. 1. The municipality arranges help for you. This is called care in kind (ZIN).
   2. You purchase help yourself with a personal budget (pgb). You will then have to deal with a number of requirements. For example, you must be able to conclude a care agreement with the care provider from whom you purchase the help. You must also keep a pgb administration.

If you receive support from the Wmo, you must pay a portion yourself each month. The amount is stated on the website of municipality of Utrecht. Some health insurers will reimburse part or all of this amount. Please contact your health insurer for this.

The municipality of Utrecht has selected four organizations for this purpose: 

• Docura Home Care
• Care Watch BV
• Emile Home Care
• Tzorg 

The organization you will deal with depends on the neighborhood you live in.
