Loss and grief

Unfortunately, everyone experiences loss in their life. For example, the loss of someone you love: your partner, a family member or a friend. But you can also lose your pet, job, health, safety or home. These are intense experiences that probably affect you deeply. You experience grief.

Talking about your loss with your family or friends can help you cope, but sometimes that doesn't seem enough. Do you notice that you are stuck in your grief? Don't hesitate and seek help. Take touch with with the neighborhood team in your district.

Help from a neighborhood team

The neighbourhood team in your neighbourhood is happy to help you during this difficult time. We will listen to your story and see if we can help you with your grieving process. In addition, we can refer you to specialist help, such as a grief therapist or a grief buddy, if necessary. There are also support groups where you can talk about your grief, fear or anger with other people who have lost someone or something. You don't have to do it alone! Look for a neighborhood team for a listening ear and the right help.
