Pregnant, what now?

You are expecting! You are having your first child or maybe you already have more children. Hopefully you are happy, but of course you can also be insecure or worried. That is very understandable, because there is a lot involved in pregnancy and raising your child.

You may get support from family, friends or neighbours who can answer your questions or ease your concerns. You can also join groups for parents-to-be. For more information, visit the website of Youth Health Care Utrecht of HOWEVER.

Of course, you can also contact your midwife, family doctor or Youth Health Care Utrecht with any questions about your pregnancy. They can also discuss with you whether support from the neighborhood team is useful in your situation. If so, we would like to hear what you need and we will make a plan together. Little children

You have one or more small children. Sometimes it is difficult to find a balance. On the one hand, you want to give your family enough attention. On the other hand, you may be worried about other areas, such as money or housing. It may also be that raising children makes you insecure. Know that you are not alone! Take your questions and concerns seriously and share them with others, such as other parents. There are parent groups in many neighborhoods in Utrecht. Also Youth Health Care Utrecht en Dock are there for you. Do you still have questions or concerns? Contact touch with with us. If you want, you can take your contact person from Youth Health Care Utrecht to the neighborhood team. We are happy to think along with you and make a plan together with you to help you further.

Frequently asked questions

You can contact your midwife with all your questions about your pregnancy and/or young children. consultation bureau (Youth Health Care Utrecht) or your family doctor. If you have any questions or concerns afterward, you can also touch with  contact the neighbourhood team in your district. During a conversation, we will look at what questions or concerns you have. Then we will work on them together. And if extra help is needed, there are many organisations in your district that we know and that can help you further.
