Evaluation of Broad Support

Over the past period, Buurtteams Utrecht conducted an evaluation of Broad Support; free and tailored assistance from municipalities for parents and children affected by the childcare benefits scandal.

First of all, we would like to thank everyone who contributed to this (anonymously to us as neighborhood teams) very much.
We commissioned the evaluation from Verwonderzoek (an external agency), partly in response to a number of complaints from victims. Our goal was to gain a clearer picture of the victims' experiences with the broad support. Additionally, we wanted to know what our employees' experiences are and whether the way we have structured the support is still appropriate.

We use the outcomes of the evaluation to learn, with an open mind. We have therefore also elaborated the recommendations into concrete actions that we are implementing.
