Lonely

If you have few people around you to talk to or to do fun things with, you can feel quite lonely. You can't express your thoughts, feelings and stories sufficiently. If loneliness lasts for a long time, some people develop physical or psychological complaints. That's why it's important to meet other people.

In most neighborhoods, fun activities are organized, for example at a community center. You can easily walk into a community center and ask what they organize.

If you find that difficult, or if you would prefer to talk to a neighborhood team member about your loneliness, you are very welcome to visit us. We will listen to you and help you think about solutions to reduce your loneliness. You are not alone! Call, email, or stop by.

Don't stay lonely

Many people feel lonely from time to time. If you feel lonely for too long, the neighborhood team can help you. You can also come to us with other problems. Together with you, we will look at what you need to feel less lonely. We will look at who can help you with this, for example: family members, acquaintances, or neighbors. We can also help you look for places where you can meet other people. We can also put you in touch with other organizations that can help you further if necessary. Contact the neighborhood team.
